Every Day Seems To Be April Fools
TheEye considered doing an April Fool’s post, but having taken a glance at the Daily Wail today:
- DIY hero nabs burglar by sealing doorway with nailgun
- The Labour MP too sick to be quizzed on expenses but fit enough to lobby for a new job
- Police officer caught on video tasering pensioner for speeding… and he gets away with it
- Birthday party for Lockerbie bomber … five months after doctors said he would be dead
- 1,250 council chiefs on £100,000 plus (and 31 earn more than PM)
- Top barrister’s ex-wife wins £215,000 payout from husband she divorced 25 years ago
and the frankly deluded:
…decided that the world was just too stupid anyway. Are any of the stories above April Fools? And if so, how would you notice?

And BMW had their own version – a choice of different colour badges for their cars. I suppose now I’ve “Outed” myself as a Daily Hate reader….
Deliberately left the the jetpack story out of my post because although it was obviously the hoax it actually sounded more plausible than the other ones. I must say that when I read it I did enjoy skiming through the stupid comments though.
