Bob Aisworth : MP And Traitor

This gate was built in the Tower of London by Edward I to provide a water gate to St Thomas’s Tower which was a royal residence. During the 17th Century its use was changed to bringing those accused of being traitors – including Anne Boleyn, Sir Thomas More and Queen Catherine Howard.

The heads of the executed were stuck on spikes.

“Bob” Ainsworth is the current Armed Forces Minister and TheEye regrets that this practice has gone out of fashion. He is currently under investigation for unfairly claiming £6,000 for doing up a so-called second home.

How many bullets could that have bought? How much body armour? How many boots? Helmets? Rifles?

And of course how much anti-venom serum for St Crispin after his recent snake bite?
