TheEye dislikes reproducing stories which have already begun to make their way around t’interweb but this one is almost too scary to be true and an exception must be made.

The vastly expensive campaign has had this poster designed.

The Lone Voice here observes:
In a time of recession the government thinks that its fine to blow some 75 million on nannying people about not exercising enough. Bleating about how the kids are becoming porkers and producing plasticine animated characters to get the message across to the indolent and feckless chavs.

SaxonTimes passes the reader over to JunkFoodScience who expertly fisks the evidence behind the campaign here and here. Doubtless this campaign will attract much more hilarity on blogs.

TheEye can write no more until the vision that it’s just 8 plasticine figures having kinky sex departs – although the affect of that on weight loss should not be underestimated.

UPDATE: Was this campaign designed by Take Heart, Hartbeat and SmartHart’s Tony Hart and Morph?
UPDATE2: It’s up on Obnoxio The Clown and elsewhere now…this one is going viral very quickly.
