Military – The peace dividend
It is my hope that the CGS & CDS have the balls to say to the politicians “Your peace dividend will be the same size as the uplift you gave us once Iraq & Afghanistan.
I cannot help but think that the tax-dodging, lying, expense fiddling scum will have short memories when it comes to this matter.
The Army is moving towards a new structure. It is imperative that this future structure is based on needs & not on budget.
On the subject of withdrawal from Afghanistan, I am amazed. Imagine what would have happened if in 1943 Churchill had announced that “We will be out combat operations by 1945”! I find the political naivety astounding!
I’m coming to believe more & more that all is going exactly to plan, Eye ..
The reduction in our Armed Forces is no accident, its all been far too carefully controlled & implemented for that to be the case ..
I’m convinced that its more to do with the gradual weakening of the one last remaining professionally capable Military force in Western Europe .. Forces, who, were they at proper strength & properly equipped, would be entirely capable of thwarting any EUSSR plan for total take-over of the UK .. or at least providing an armed response to such an event ..
Our enemies in the UK are not external but internal .. Which is precisely why the Blair creature deliberately got rid of the Treason Act ..
