The French government is to impose an extra tax of 3% on annual income above 500,000 euros (£440,000; $721,000). It is part of a package of measures to try to cut the country’s deficit by 12bn euros over two years. The tax increase came after some of France’s wealthiest people had called on the government to tackle its deficit by raising taxes on the rich.
I can only presume those in favour of paying more taxes have the same DNA as those who supported the Terror.
BBC Radio 2 mentioned this, it claimed that some of Frances wealthiest people had petitioned their govenment to tax them more, specifically mentioning the heiress to the L’Oreal brand. Some people huh?
Quite frankly .. who gives a shit ?
If it leads to one lot of Frenchmen topping another lot of Frenchmen .. let the fun commence, say I … 😉
Actually, as I have blogged over on Biased BBC, things are not QUITE as the BBC would have us believe. Even at the new high rate, the French wealthy will pay 6% less tax than us! We’re all French now…
And of course none of the other super-wealthy will fuck off to Luxembourg or Lichtenstein or Switzerland where the French government won’t get a bean from them. Fuxake, if the handful of idiots supporting this feel they want to give more why don’t they just write a fucking cheque? Stupid cunts.
