Paying The EU Dues, TPA-Style
The TaxPayers’ Alliance have released a new video today…okay a bit contrived but making a very valid point…in which they try (and fail) to pay the European Commission a cheque covering Britain’s daily EU membership fee.
Somebody needs to tell “George Osborne” and “Danny Alexander” that the botox treatment didn’t work, though.
Funny stunt and point well made, pity they did not get past the blameless secretary or the dimbo “could you remove your masks” guy.

You can’t really blame the secretary, can you? I’m surprised we didn’t get a response more like “The minimum wage doesn’t cover this shit” followed by a walkout.
It’s a vast vast number though, I agree. So big it’s basically incomprehensibly meaningless – which is why the cuts next week will not be understood. The man in the street doesn’t understand quite how screwed we really are.
