It Won’t Go Away, Diane
Here is the video that the Labour Party is going around waving lawyers’ letters about – the video that just won’t die.
This is the Diane Abbott (C)Rap, a marvellously fascist bit of indoctrination for schoolchildren. Ask yourself if you know what teachers are doing to your offspring today. The idea isn’t new of course…famous examples of the cult* of the Great Leader include Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, Kim Il Sung and Barry Obama. Abbott doesn’t really fit in to that league – except for being barking mad.
Hat-tip to Corrugated Soundbite, Barking Spider, Banned etc for keeping the flame alive.
Mine was taken down twice. I think everyone’s seen it now though but I’ll remember where it is if it’s needed.
Wet here today and such a lovely day yesterday too.

But Diane (peace be upon her) is black, so how can she be wrong or in any way flawed? Diane (peace be upon her) is wonderful and the kids should know this and should be taught this too.

This isn’t new of course. My son, now 24 and has his own kids, was in secondary school in Chester in 2000 and one night he was talking about how his geography teacher was telling them about how bad things were in the Thatcher years and how good things were now we had got rid of them and how wonderful Labour was. I took note and said nothing of course except put him straight. My lad is sensible and listened.
The next parents evening I made a beeline for this teacher, a typical skinny little fart wearing a cord jacket with a shipsy beard and probably fucking tofu eating who had never done anything outside of school. My wiofe knew what was coming so held back. I introduced myself and was VERY pleasant, and innocently asked what the curriculum consisted of and what he actually taught. No geopolitics I asked. Nope.
I then changed into my best cold and hard face and asked loudly, so everybody in the hall could hear, so why are you teaching my son that Thatcher was a monster and Labour is great then? I went on and on and he he blanched and could say nothing. I told him I was a Tory and my son would make his own mind up at the given time and he should keep his mouth shut and teach what he is paid to teach and keep his politics to himself. I’d better not to have to make myself clear again, I said, and he just nodded.
By this time a senior member of staff cam and he got aggressive and was threatened by being chinned and he should tell HIS member of staff what his job is and to teach the curriculum and not try and indoctrinate our children to his political views. The mistake they made of course was that I knew many parents there and my sone was popular, so then other parents agreed and they had to back off. There was no repetition.
True story.
WE need to tell these bloody teachers what their job is, same for the drugs advisers mongs.

Happily I was educated in an era when teachers kept their politics to themselves; isn’t it illegal to use public funds and resources to promote one political candidate rather than others?

These sorts of things are always worth bookmarking or keeping up your sleeve. You just never know when they will come in useful.
Wet there? It’s t-shirt and sangria weather this weekend – I’ve been working from the roof patio on the laptop and it’s been fantastic 🙂

I saw a question on “Yahoo Answers” yesterday – ‘Is it possible to criticise Obama and not be racist?’. Classic questions to which the answer is No.

My politics teacher, on the other hand, was a past Chairman of Liberal Students (or whatever they were called) and a founder member of the Single Transferable Vote Society – and you couldn’t pass the coursework element of the exam unless you paid the £10 subscription. He churned out yeargroup after yeargroup of twisted messed-up pupils.
