BARKING….
What do you make of the news that a police chief criticised by a judge for failing to attend a 999 call said today police could not attend every emergency call – and most people did not expect them to.
Julie Spence, Chief Constable of Cambridgeshire Police, said Judge Sean Enright’s complaint gave her a chance to ‘inject a note of realism’ into the perception of policing. But on the upside, even though answering 999 calls is not a priority, the same force operates “dog blogs”. I suppose this is called taking the ruff with the smooth?
Can we just abolish the police if this is going to be the attitude?
