NORTH KOREAN HULA…
So, Obama assures Americans that the US is “fully prepared” should North Korea sent a missile the way of the Hawaii.
I visited the Hawaiian Islands two years ago and fell in love with the peace and tranquility of Kauai and would go back tomorrow but for the distance. However were I an islander, I would feel less than content at Obama’s words of re-assurance. Surely what is needed is a comprehensive pre-emptive strike against the lunatics that run North Korea, reducing their nuclear resources to glowing atomic dust.. Wait and see seems to be Obama’s default mode – we see it in Iran and North Korea. It seems poor example of real leadership and an inadequate substitute for decisive action.
Indeed, surely it is best to strike now before the grotesquely named Democratic People’s Republic of Korea has managed to miniaturise its nuclear weapons and put them in its long-range missiles. At the moment its ICBMs seem quite crude as it takes them some time to prepare them for launch, being visible by satelite. If Obama had any sense he would neutralise these missiles while they are being prepared on the launch pad.
