Have you been following the firestorm following David Letterman’s tasteless comments about Sarah Palin’s daughter? Letterman’s “humorous monologue contained this line..“One awkward moment for Sarah Palin at the Yankee game, during the seventh inning, her daughter was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez.” Palin was in New York with her 14-year-old daughter, Willow at the time. Naturally the Palins have protested. Naturally Letterman has suggested that they can’t take a joke. From where I stand, we have a liberal TV host using his bully pulpit to make cheap jokes about defenceless teenage girls. I think Palin should be encouraged about this – the more the liberal MSM show their hatred of her, the more they also show that they fear her. I would LOVE it if Palin became the GOP candidate in 2012 – her charm and staunch republican views are a red rag to media whores like Letterman and his effete script-writers.
