I was reading that Labour babe Margaret Beckett has thrown her hat into the ring as the race to replace Mick “Gorbals” Martin as the race for Speaker heats up. How blessed we are, seeing as how Tory tottie Anne Widdecombe has also allowed her name to be mentioned. But both these babelicious politicos will surely fail to win the day with CONservative John Bercow having secured substantial Labour support for his run to be Speaker. So it looks like the Commons will achieve the impossible and replace the malignant odious toad Martin with something much worse!
