Question Time 28 January 2010
Question Time tonight comes from Basildon and the panel will feature Culture Secretary Little Ben Bradshaw, Lord Lawson, Baroness Tonge, The Sun journalist Jane Moore and Director of the Centre for Social Cohesion Douglas Murray. Early indications had been that Amanda Platell was on the programme but this no longer appears to be the case.
Those wanting to get an idea of the political feel of the area – these are the General Election results in the 1997 Basildon constituency (Angela Smith, Lab).
For those who wish to take part in the Biased-BBC Buzzword Bingo, we will be playing by the “Chilcot Enquiry Rules” meaning that “Brown” won’t be appearing on your card for as long as possible, and getting “Blair“, “Liar” and “45 Minutes” on a diagonal line is an instant win. The usual prizes will be awarded.
As usual, the live chat will begin over on Biased-BBC at 22:35 UK time. Please come and join us!
Managed to see most of it ASE. Old Lord Lawson’s made a good recovery from his stroke I was pleased to see. Plus he talked sense about climate change. Jane Moore I’ve always admired.
Shoot me down in flames!!

Agree with you Subrosa, the panel was better than usual. I’ve not really come across Jane Moore previously and was pleasantly surprised and impressed. Three sensible views on climate change from the same BBC panel though…someone on their panel booking team will be sacked in the morning.
