Amusing ditty for a Saturday evening 🙂 .
“Terror makes you all piss in your pants”. No it does not, looked at as a numbers game we are each far more likely to fall victim to a road accident or simple criminal assault and for that reason I was never “terrorised” by the IRA and nor these days by islamists or jihadis.
It is  the politicians and media types who are responsible for the ensuing hysteria, acting just as the would be terrorists would wish, twats.
In that respect, the terrorists have won. They *never* need to even go near an airport ever again, let alone blow up or hijack a plane. The media and “those who know what’s best” have decreed that we need to check in the previous Tuesday before our flight and have whole body naked images taken.
No more taking a bottle of scotch on board to “keep out the cold” or being given any cutlery able to penetrate the frozen half-bricks which pass for in-flight food. We’ve surrendered these things because of a risk smaller than the one you’re taking by getting in a taxi to leave the airport afterwards.
