We are fast approaching the 100th anniversary of the birth of Ronald Wilson Reagan (February 6, 1911 – June 5, 2004) the 40th President of the United States (1981–1989) but importantly in this context also the 33rd Governor of California (1967–1975)

So it was good to hear that former first lady Nancy Reagan joined California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger yesterday in Simi Valley for a ceremonial signing of a bill making it Ronald Reagan Day every Feb. 6 in California.
