World Vegan Month (Pt2) There Is No Such Thing As A Vegan
At school, as part of your usual propaganda, you were doubtless taught that Red Indians could find dozens of uses for every part of a bison; nothing was wasted, they were the first Greens…yadda…yadda…yadda.
Well that’s just not true. It’s taken capitalism and modern technology to reach that stage; and as you can see, every part now has a use. Including the image itself, which demonstrates that there is no such thing as a vegan. And that Red Indians were a bit rubbish.
Buttons, toggles – it’s traditional to make them out of horn and hoof.
And where would Vikings be if they didn’t have horns on their hats?

Err .. sorry to both disappoint & correct you WoaR ..
But there is no historical evidence to back up the popular assumption that Vikings (or to be moreĀ accurate, Norsemen) ever wore “winged” or “horned” helmets ..
This would appear to be a fairly recent (in historical terms) embellishment, probably associated with the operas of Richard Wagner .. it was also a fantasy popularised by Victorian artists ..
There is however, evidence to suggest that such helmets were worn by certainĀ Celtic/Germanic tribes in what are now France & Germany (think Julius Caesar’s great opponent, Vercingetorix) ..Ā š
