Yes I noticed that too, which is why I was wondering if it was a spoof. Note the lapels and black tie too – is it a policeman being parodied perhaps?
The beard looks more like a felt-tip pen job to me ..
I suspect (having been the perpertrator of several similar incidents myself) that this is along the lines of ..
“ERA Chicken .. lay aft” .. or
“Would Miss Connie Lingus, please report to the Airport Information Desk” ..
We had a special name for it .. we called it ….. a sense of humour .. 😉 😀
Yes, like putting inexperienced crew on Mail Buoy Watch and similar. Always great fun for onlookers! The victims laugh too…eventually.
Well they used to laugh ..
Until they discovered that by running crying to authority .. they get paid real money ..
And now there are people who weren’t even there, who are prepared to run to authority on their behalf ..
