Hahaha yes; a terrible run ashore. Ans always ending up in Martine’s night club (is it still there, I wonder) near the Guildhall after a skinful. Happy, if only vaguely remembered, times.

Thanks Rosie! It’s the opposite here…it never snows and I’d love to see some this year for a change. In fact, I’m thinking of driving up to the Sierra Nevada for some skiing next week just for that.

As a British overseas territory you would (presumably) grind to a halt at the first sign of snow! Over here it only takes half an inch to do it….
I don’t mind the snow, it’s the gloomy days that often follow which are a pain.

Snow? Here? Not going to happen. Here things stop when it rains properly. I’m enjoying watching pictures on tv of the UK under several inches of global warming though.

Here in the sunny southwest we have benefitted from an unusually early snowfall which was unprecidently deep and longlasting accompanied by temps of -10-12 degrees C, all very Chridtmassy I’m sure.
