Blogs are always more entertaining when people with different opinions and diverging views end up in the same (virtual) pub.

“St. Crispin’s Day” and myself have shared a physical beer or five and also exchanged words of wisdom online – so I’m delighted to invite him on board as an occasional and welcome contributor.

The picture is of HMS Glasgow. I was christened on board when my father served on her and my name is engraved on the ship’s bell as is the custom. It’s a shame that she’ll be turned into razorblades in a year or so.

“St. Crispin’s Day” has a sharp and incisive view of the military scene and I’m sure he’ll add to the quality of this blog.
