Zimbabwean tyrant Robert Mugabe is a man whose continued presence on this planet pollutes it. He has turned Zimbabwe from the bread basket of Africa into a basket case. He has shown a genocidal hatred of white farmers and a contempt for the lives of black Zimbabweans. He is a Marxist monster and had it not been for the admiration he attracted from his fellow African tyrants he should have been toppled years ago. But when I read that Zimbabwe Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai telling the BBC (Who else?) that the “acrimony is over” between him and Mugabe I am reminded of Winston Churchill’s question “Where is the point of compromise between the fireman and the arsonist”? Tsvangirai legitimises evil and it appears he is becoming so immunised to it that he no longer even sees it. Power corrupts….
