DID I JUST HEAR THAT?
I was listening to the Andrew Marr show on the BBC this morning, by way of light entertainment. I was trying to guess how many lines of attack Marr would open up on Conservative leader David Cameron and was not in the least surprised at the endless verbal assaults that ensued. Europe is a particular fault-line in Conservative ranks that the BBC desperately seeks to exploit but I was shocked when Cameron said that the “new” Tory approach on Europe was exemplified in how it came together and voted for former Commie Jose Barroso to win his second term as President of the EC. Dave reckons Jose is doing “a rather good job”. Look, I loath Labour and want them out but when Cameron actually boasts about re-installing the goon Barroso as head of the Euro-diktat, I get worried. Don’t you?
Absolutely, Eye, I really can’t even stand the sight of that man, Barroso – he appears to originate from the same sneaky gene pool as Alan Johnson – or is that just my imagination. Cameron really worries me and his weekly emails read like a children’s story rather than something for adult consumption. I can only continue to hope that he’s keeping his powder dry until the appropriate time.

I don’t trust Cameron, he knows we will vote NO ( especially with Blair in place ) which is why he won’t give us a referendum. I and many others will be voting UKIP for this very reason unless he promises our referndum and if that costs the Tories votes and seats then so be it, even if it does lead to a Lib/Lab collaboration Government
