Question Time – 8th October

October 7, 2009 at 12:00 pm

Another week, another Question Time. This time Dimblebore transports us to Manchester (currently hosting the Conservative Party Conference and where it’s raining at the moment…..unlike McDoom’s mob let’s hope they fixed the roof whilst the sun was shining, eh?) Unlike last week where the panel was scarily balanced, this week looks like a return to situation: normal.

The panel will be the Work and Pensions Secretary Yvette Cooper MP, the M&S boss Sir Stuart Rose, the Liberal Democrat housing spokesman Sarah Teather MP and the editor of Private Eye Ian Hislop. A random Conservative (of unknown rightwingyness) will be thrown to this mob of baying lefties if one can be dragged away from a Party Conference champagne reception.

As usual we’ll be decamping to the Biased-BBC blog for a livechat during the show and on through the Abbott-Portillo Show afterwards. David Vance will be taking the helm and your humble Eye will be helping with the moderation. With Stuart Rose on the panel, remember their advertising slogan; This is not just bias, this is M&S bias….
