Crying About Trees
An entertaining post on the Dizzy’s blog this morning about the extinction of species has reminded TheEye of this clip of EarthFirst eco-nutjob hippies wailing and crying over trees. These people are so scarily retarded and dangerous that they shouldn’t be allowed to breed, but unfortunately most of them have day jobs as teachers and social workers, and so are busy indoctrinating your children right now.
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
You have to larf, but even ancient Rome had their tree nutters. The naturalist Pliny the Elder in 70 AD took the opposite view and chopped them down where ever he encountered them! He said they were ” Excrescences of the Earth”.
Must say though, the USA has a clear monopoly when it comes to mad people.
