Try as is might, the mainstream media can’t shake off it’s Obamalovin’

Take this headline from the New York Times: “U.S. Economy Shrank Less Than Expected in Quarter”.

Here is the content of the article: Things are so much better than expected, blah, blah, blah. Economists agree, blah, blah, blah. Advisers close to President Obama are cautiously optimistic blah, blah, blah, and tout the government policies, blah, blah, blah.

That saves you the effort of reading it. Never say that TheEye isn’t helpful.

But think about what that headline would have been if a Republican (even a media-created RINO like McCain) was in the Oval Office. Maybe something more like: “U.S. Economy In Crisis As Economy Shrank Again In Last Quarter.”

The apoplexy which would have greeted putting Sarah Palin’s name in that headline would have only be exceeded by the sounds of journalists exploding if they had to write a positive headline about her.

Imagine “U.S. Economy Storms Forward Despite Palin Policies. Overheating Ahead?”

You cannae win sometimes.
